Mr Cyril Gallie a well known Yeovil Hairdresser and Golfplan policy holder for many years was playing a four-ball at Lyme Regis Golf Club just prior to Christmas. One of his playing partners miss hit his golf ball into the car park, where sounds of smashing glass could be heard. On inspection the golf ball had smashed the rear window of a parked Jaguar, and the offending golf ball was found on the back seat. It wasn’t just any Jaguar but to Cyril Gallies’ horror - his own!
